Known Issues - AutoHook 2008/2009/2010 v1.0.1
No Response From Hotkeys:
If you are using Windows Vista, you must turn off User Account Control (UAC) for your hotkeys to be seen by AutoCAD. This issue will be corrected in the next release allowing your hotkeys to work with or without UAC.To turn off UAC, go to Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Turn User Account Control off, then reboot.
Alt+Tab:
AutoHook implements special Alt key handling to "semi-hide" the Alt key from AutoCAD, without which the Alt key could not be used reliably as a modifier. Suspending your hotkeys returns the Alt key to normal function.
This semi-hidden state currently causes a problem when using Alt+Tab to change the active program when AutoCAD is the active program. This issue will be corrected in the next release.
Keyboard Language/Layout Switching:
Switching to different keyboard languages/layouts using the default Windows hotkey of Left Alt + Shift does not work when AutoCAD is the active program. This issue will be corrected in the next release.
Suspending your hotkeys will allow the default language/layout switching key to work properly, or you may change the default Windows hotkey from Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options.
Stuck Alt Key:
Some users have reported a "stuck" Alt key when using AutoHook. This may happen sometimes after using the Alt key in AutoCAD and may cause very erratic keyboard behavior. Don't panic! Press and release each Alt key by itself (with no other keys down) and this should correct the problem. We will provide an update to correct this issue when available.
